Summertime and the Livin's Easy!!
....or not. Summer has been pretty stressful for me to start off. First of all, Im attending summer semester @ Kirtland to get some of my pre-reqs out of the way and it's gay. I thought I would have more motivation than what I do. Maybe it's because I've been dealing with so much other stress on top of school 3 days a week. I've just been a complete and utter train-wreck. My mind is wandering in so many different directions lately, I can hardly tell what I'm doing half the time.
But onto another not, Zeplin turned one! It was just a little cake and icecream get together. No big deal. He didnt even hardly eat any cake anyways. He loved his toys that he got though. Makena actually got a bigger kick out of it than he did.
Speaking of my sweet little Makena.....(with hardly no emphasis on the sweet at all);), she is doing amazing!!! My little big girl is so extremely smart! I just cannot believe her brain holds that much information! She amazes me by doing something new everyday, and I love it!!! Her new thing now is singing "Hakuna Matata" from the Lion King. I was down @ Janell's curran house over the weekend and Makena decided to show off and sing for everybody, then preceeds to stop and get completely silent then say "what's so funny guys??" It was hilarious. (I'll have Janell post the video to my blog shortly!) I have no idea where she gets her outgoing attitude....or just her attitude for that matter! ;) Actually, Im very blessed for having such "laid back" kids. And I say that in the sense that they never shy up around people, basically anybody can hold them and they are almost always in a pretty decent mood. Now I just have to teach them how to cook for themselves, have Makena change Zeppy's diapers and put themselves to bed!!! Any day now....haha.
Well, that's about it. My life is never that important or appealing, but I like to think that when it is, IT IS!!!! You'll have to look out for some pictures from over the weekend @ Dustin and ShayShay's wedding. That was a BLAST!! We all had such a wonderful time. Of course we all got pretty tipsy @ the end of the night and started "dancing". Now, I put that in parentheses because what we were all doing last night was far from dancing. I think we were all just floppin ourselves around in a drunken manner and thought we looked hot! hahaha. But what really ended the night right was Janell dropping her champagne glass and me picking it up and lightly tossing it on the ground again (which i really have no idea why), then Janell smashing the fucking thing with her big black boots she had on! And the only thing that came to my mind at that exact moment was screaming "MAHZELTOUGH" while throwing my hands in the air like they do on "Wedding Crashers". hahahahaha. I wonder if Janell even remembers that!? ;)

A little of this and a little of that...
So...there's a few things coming up that I'm looking forward to.
First and foremost....SUMMER!!!! I cannot wait for this cold snowy shit to finally be done and over with. It's ridiculous that it's April 1st and there's still some snow on the ground in spots.
Second, I'll be going to Cedar Point on May 16th with my bestie and a bunch of other friends. I can't wait! It's going to be AMAZING!!!
Third, Zeppy's 1st Birthday. Seriously, he's going to be one already! I cannot even believe that the time has passed that quickly. Actually, yes I can. Having to deal with him AND his big sister makes the days fly by! ;)
Fourth, my little sister is turning 16 on June 3rd. Now come on...I remember when she was just a wee one with spirally curly red hair, shittin her pants and tattlin on me. Oh wait, that was just a few weeks ago. Nevermind. That's neither here nor there. :) She is growing up so fast. Turning into such a BEAUTIFUL woman!! I can't believe that I will be sharing the road with her shortly. Well, I guess I better put full coverage back on my car! haha.
I think about things like that all the time . I always think of the "old days". Remembering how fun it was to just run free with no kids. That's what I miss the most. Freedom. Not that I dont love my kids more than life itself, it's just that you always think of how life would be without having them RIGHT NOW. Any parent can relate. I always think about the year I graduated. The people I used to be friends with. The people that I wish I was still freinds with. But hey, you can't change the past. Just make the best of what you have right now.
Life's a crazy thing. That's what makes it so fun. You never know what the future can hold. Make the most of what you have and who you have in your life. Those people are the ones that mean the most to you and will always be there to share in the joy of everything you encounter along the way. Dont dwell on people who dont matter. They are just there to bring you down. Apparantly their lives arent going well enough so they think that they have to make your miserable as well. No thanks.....not for me.
I have THE best people in my life. First and foremost, my family. I love them with all my heart. I wouldnt be here without any of them. My parents have helped me through so many obstacles and challenges and I love them dearly for always being there. I miss my dad every single day. I wish he was still here to be in my life. Be in my children's life. He knows I loved him and I know that he felt the same. One day I'll see him again. I love you old man! I have the best friends ever. My best friend has been there for over 11 years now. She knows just what to say to cheer me up. She can make me laugh when I dont want to. She always has something to say about me...even if it's not the nicest thing. But she gets it right back in return. She knows just about everything there is to know about me. She's helped me out so much from the time I was pregnant with Makena up until now. I always know that she'll be there for me until the day we die. She's pretty much my sister, and that's why i hate her so much!! She's a skanky whore!! :)
My other friends mean so much to me as well. I have the best guy friend ever! I can tell him anything and he does the same in return. Just because I dont get to see him (or his beautiful wife and kids) as much as i'd like, I cherish the time when they are around.
Jessi is my friend that I've had the longest. We've been friends for over 25 years now. I have seen the best and worst times with that girl. We've grown up together. Every stage of our lives has been shared with eachother. I love her so much. My other friends mean alot as well. I just cant name all of them. I know, I know, Im popular! ;)
Alrighty then....thanks for reading. Hopefully some of my words related to some of you out there. If so, Im happy. I like to think that I have some postive information and qualities to share with people. I may not be the nicest, smartest, prettiest, most mature woman out there, but hey, it's me. And that's why people love me so much!!!!! :)
